9th June: Left Bangor at 0500 yesterday and arrived off Whitehaven 0700 after a night-long sail in lumpy seas. Not enough water to enter port until 0930 so we tacked up and down for 2 1/2 hours badly in need of sleep. A clean up and meal followed by a few hours dozing put us to rights....
